Vendors manage shipping and delivery, while the Platform collects customer payments (including product cost, taxes, and shipping charges) and remits vendor payouts after deducting platform commission and applicable taxes.

This Return & Refund Policy defines the rights and obligations of customers and vendors regarding returns, replacements, and refunds. Vendors are solely responsible for product quality, timely delivery, and resolution of return requests.

📦 1. Eligibility for Returns

Customers may request a return if:

The product received is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
The product is significantly different from the description or image shown.
The request is made within 7 calendar days of delivery.
The product is unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Refunds will not ordinarily be issued in cash, considering vendors are small-scale producers. Instead, customers may choose to receive another product of equal value from the same vendor or SajiliOdisha.com marketplace.
In case of damaged, defective, or incorrect products, customers may request a replacement of the same item (subject to availability) or select another product of equal value.
If replacement or exchange is not possible, SajiliOdisha.com may process a refund to the original payment method within 20 business days after vendor approval.
For COD orders, refunds (if applicable) will be issued via bank transfer after verification.
Shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to vendor error.
The Platform will deduct commission and applicable taxes before remitting payouts to vendors. Vendors remain liable for returns, replacements, and customer satisfaction in case of disputes.

Vendors are responsible for arranging reverse pickup or accepting returned goods.
In remote areas, customers may be asked to ship the item themselves and share the receipt for reimbursement.
Vendors must cooperate with logistics partners to ensure smooth return handling.

Customers can initiate a return by:

Logging into their SajiliOdisha.com account and selecting the relevant order.
Clicking “Request Return” and providing reason and photos (if applicable).
Awaiting confirmation and pickup instructions from the vendor or support team.

⚖️ 8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy shall be governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
